What is block confirmation?
Blockchain technology is a system that stores data in interconnected blocks and ensures the validity of these blocks through verification by miners. Cryptocurrency transactions take place on the blockchain, which means your transaction is presented to miners for verification. If the miners find no errors, they add the transaction data to the blocks, completing your trade. Block confirmation refers to the approval of this process by the miners.
Block Confirmation Process
When the data for your transaction has not been added to a block, the number of confirmed blocks is "0." Once your data is added to a block, the transaction is confirmed, and the confirmation count rises to "1." Each new block added increases the confirmation count. The higher the number of confirmations, the more difficult it becomes to alter the data on the blockchain. This ensures that the data remains secure.
How to Check the Number of Block Confirmations?
Click on the [Assets] – [Deposit] – [Deposit Crypto] section. Select the cryptocurrency and the relevant network, then click the [Confirm] button.
On the deposit page, you can see the number of block confirmations required for the deposit to be credited to your account. Your deposit transaction will be completed once it reaches the necessary number of block confirmations.
