CoinTR offers different order types for you to use in Spot Trading. You can use them to set your trading strategies and trade efficiently. Let’s look at the common order types in CoinTR Spot Trading.
1. Market Order
The market order is executed as quickly as possible at the current market price at the time you create it. This order type can be used for both buy and sell transactions. The market order is a preferred order type in situations where you need to act quickly.
2. Limit Order
A limit order is entered into the order book with a limit price you set. These orders are not executed instantly like market orders. They are executed only when the market price reaches the limit price (or better) you set. Therefore, you can use limit orders to buy at a lower price or sell at a higher price than the market price.
