We are building a financial ecosystem that is more free, secure, efficient, and transparent supported by cryptographic technology. Our Team

Ali Eselioglu｜CoinTR CEO

Former Deputy Executive Director of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. Ali Eselioglu graduated from the Department of Statistics at Yıldız Technical University and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Yeditepe University. Additionally, he pursued a doctoral degree at Gebze High Technology Institute. With extensive experience in the banking industry, Mr. Ali served as Vice President at DenizBank from 2007 to 2009 and as Director of Finance and Customer Risk at Doğan TV Holding from 2009 to 2018. From 2021 to 2023, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Market Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, where he was directly responsible for managing Turkey's gold trade, imports and exports, the national gold reserves, foreign exchange transactions, and bond trading.

Sakir Ercan Gul｜CoinTR Board Chairman

Former Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance. He possesses extensive financial and management experience, having previously overseen the drafting of laws related to the Turkish Stock Exchange licensing during his tenure at the Ministry of Finance. From 2004 to 2017, he served as the Vice Chairman of TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund), subsequently assuming the role of Chairman. In the following years, he held positions as a board member of Aydın Holding, a board member of the Islamic Development Bank, and the Chairman of Eximbank. From 2021 to 2023, Gul served as the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury, demonstrating his leadership capabilities in the financial industry. Gul's years of financial and management experience will bring valuable contributions to CoinTR.

Murat Uysal｜CoinTR Board Member

Murat Uysal, former Governor of the Central Bank of Turkey, was born on 27 October 1971 in Istanbul. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halk Invest from March 2015 to April 2016, and as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey from 9 June 2016, and then was appointed Governor on 6 July 2019. He made outstanding contributions to Turkey's monetary policy and financial stability during his tenure.

Mehmet Emin Karaagac｜CoinTR Board Member

Former Deputy General Manager of Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O. Mr. Karaagac graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 1986. He held the position of Vice President at Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O., where he was responsible for overseeing the legal tracking processes of the bank and managing the legal department. Additionally, he served as a board member of Vakıfbank Gayrimenkul Yatırım A.Ş. Currently, he is a board member of Razi Petrochemical Company and serves as the Chairman and General Manager of Turkey's Raintrade Petrokimya ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. Mehmet's experiences reflect his extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of law and management.

Yakup Demir｜CoinTR Chief Compliance Officer

Former BDDK Senior Banking Chief Expert, Manager, Deputy Head of Department. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Middle East Technical University in 1980. From 2002 to 2004, he served as a board member of TMSF subsidiary company, Interaktif Telekominikasyon Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Between 2000 and 2019, he held the position of Head of the Department for Institutional Authorization and Licensing at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) in Turkey. Subsequently, he continued his career as a department head at TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund).
